Hi, enjoyed reading your comments. I’m here in Portland and am developing a history based website. The site relies heavily on AJAX programming which is starting to look like it could be a problem from a monetization standpoint. Adsense’s TOS prohibits ad refreshes without an actual page refresh. Do you have any experience with this problem?
    Thanks,
    Bob

Hey Bob, no, I don’t have any experience with that. If the TOS requires a page refresh, then that limits your options- you’re either stuck with a non-refreshing ad, or you change your website to make pages refresh. I think Google requires that so it knows for certain what text content surrounds the ad. The choose the ad based on the keywords on the page (and the visitor’s interests), so I can see how Ajax would mess up that whole process. It’s better SEO to have separate URLs for each page of content, anyway. Good luck.
